The CFL announced its 2011 all-star team on Wednesday. The Alouettes, inconsistent all season with a 10-8 record, had only four members.
Conspicuous by his absence is quarterback Anthony Calvillo, the East Division nominee as most outstanding player. He lost to B.C. QB Travis Lulay – coincidentally his competition in the outstanding player award.

Bo Bowling is about to be rewarded for his patience.

The Alouettes announced on Monday that wide-receiver Kerry Watkins and offensive-tackle Josh Bourke both sustained season-ending injuries on Sunday, against Calgary, and have been placed on the nine-game injured list.
