The Canadian Football League announced on Wednesday afternoon that Alouettes’ rush-end Kitwana Jones was fined an undisclosed amount for an illegal hit on Toronto’s Chad Owens last Friday.
While making a tackle, Jones lowered his head and led with his helmet, making primary contact with Owens’s helmet and temporarily shaking him up.
