Edmonton Eskimo statement regarding CFL fining team for tampering

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club today issued the following statement regarding being fined $10,000.00 by the CFL for violating the league’s tampering rules when signing free agent Odell Willis.

President and CEO Len Rhodes stated: “We respect the position taken by the Canadian Football League and Commissioner Mark Cohon.  As a result we feel that no other public comment is necessary nor will it be forthcoming from the Eskimo organization.”
