The first positive word about the lions’ 60th season had yet to be uttered but the club couldn’t wait to put out the good news Tuesday that Angus Reid and Ryan Phillips will be back.
Actually, Reid let his intentions become known before Christmas at a charity function, but no harm presumably letting the club make the same announcement. Phillips is needed again now more than ever after the release of Byron Parker last week. More in the paper Wednesday.
