Eagle Keys, whose body of work included coaching stints with the Edmonton Eskimos and Saskatchewan Roughriders but also five seasons running the Lions, has passed away, the club announced Thursday. He was 89.

Keys concluded his CFL career after the 1975 season with the Lions and retired in Burnaby. Here’s the 411 from the club.
