Kira Lynn Hladun is having something like a wonderful month of November. As the winner of an online contest, the 20-year-old sang the national anthem at the Eskimos’ latest home game.
This week, the Edmonton country singer will perform at Farmfair International on Wednesday — 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Hall E at the Expo Centre.
She’s also releasing her second effort, Something Like Love, on Thursday at the Westbury Theatre in the Arts Barns.
Tickets are $20 plus service charges at fringetheatre.ca or 780-409-1910.
Some of the proceeds will be donated to The Maier Centre for Autism Services, which offers therapy and support for children with autism and their families.
