Look up Friday at B.C. Place Stadium and there’s a good chance you’ll see blue skies, and for those who don’t live on the Lower Mainland you have to know this ranks as a significant development on two fronts.
There’s been a change to the roofing policy at B.C. Place Stadium, and in celebration we’re making a change to the live chat policy, at least for this week, here at Le Fifth Quarter.
The club and the dome announced within minutes of each other today that the roof will be open for the game against Hamilton, thanks to the rosy weather forecast in the Lower Mainland.
We’re announcing a change too. In an attempt to boost the chatting audience, we’ll be online at 12 noon Friday to talk all things Lions and CFL in the hopes we won’t be as lonely as we were before the season opener last week. No truth to the rumour we’re going to set up at midfield under the open roof Friday and soak in the rays. But if you want to talk football, you now have a time and place to do so.
