Rob Murphy, the star CFL offensive lineman with the biker image, had 14 medical procedures on his knee during his professional career. Two-time CFL most outstanding lineman has announced his official retirement.

VANCOUVER — Rob Murphy — a massive building block for the B.C. Lions’ championship season in 2006 — officially is passing into retirement today, joining his former Ohio State roommate, Brent Johnson, in the next phase of life after football.
