The CFL’s free agency period opens just after midnight tonight, or is that midnight tomorrow? I’ve never been sure of the proper phrasing.

Let’s just say free agency opens at 12 a.m, Feb, 16.

Today, the league released the list of players who will become CFL free agents should they not re-sign today.
