Can Ken Miller turn the Saskatchewan Roughriders around?
It may take some time.
There is no doubt that the Labour Day Classic is going to be a tough one. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are the league’s best team, having won five straight, and the Riders are the league’s worst.
But the players seem to be happy to have “Grandpa” out on the field. Maybe he will help bring some of the team’s magic back?
” … You’ve got to love Coach Miller. You can’t say anything bad about that guy,’’ Lance Frazier said. Read the full story here.
In all honesty do you guys think the Riders have a chance of making the Labour Day Classic close one? While I do believe they may have some added spark coming in with changes at the top — I don’t think they’ll be a match for the Bombers.
We won’t know how much of an effect Miller will have until we see the Riders return to the field this weekend. As Frazier puts it: “Grandpa has some wisdom, man.” Let’s hope he’s got something good up his sleeve!
TSN was also at Riders’ practice. Check out the video here.
